This time tomorrow I will have seen the new IT film and to say I am excited about that is an understatement.
I have been a huge fan of IT since first reading the book as a teenager in the mid 90’s and as much as I enjoy the mini series and Tim Curry’s IT, I always hoped they would give it the Hollywood treatment it deserved.
With an impressive cast and director behind this new imagining of the Losers Club’s battle against IT I am very hopeful it will live up to expectations. The last few weeks we have seen the promotional campaign being amped up with balloons and ghost like figures appearing in cities across the world.
One thing I have been particularly excited about has been the alternative film art that was always going to be made about such a great source material.
Thankfully the wonderful people of Gallery 1988 had an exhibition in the run up to the release with some wonderful pieces on show. I am sure there will be a lot more coming out over the coming months, especially in the run up to Halloween so we will have to keep an eye out for those.
Anyway, here are the wonderful works in their full glory, we hope you enjoy them as much as we did and we hope you are as excited about tomorrows release as we are. As always we would like to say that if you do see it try not to put any spoilers out there for people that haven’t had a chance to see it yet because that is a real dick move.
