With San Diego Comic-Con 2017 just past, people around the world have had the opportunity to see some of the best cosplayers in action. I’m sure this will have given us all inspiration for Halloween costumes this year.
As big money adaptions of comic book favourites continue to dominate box offices, there are a number of great Halloween costume ideas available but this October could see a rise in popularity of retro costumes.
With IT being released on September 8th and being set in the 80’s along with Stranger Things 2 hitting the screens on October 27th we could see a fair amount of clowns, Ghostbusters and more this year.
Personally speaking I’m a fan of a homemade costume, I like to think people took the time and effort to make something from scratch and, truth be told, I like it when they are kind of crappy. In fact, here’s myself and my long suffering other half channelling our creative talents a few years ago.
I tend to be quite set when I make my mind up about something and I thought that this would be the case for Halloween costumes but all credit to the good people of Trick or Treat Studios who may well have changed my mind.
I stumbled across their site by chance and was blown away by the masks they have available for fans of cult horror films like Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Krampus and The Devils Rejects to horror staples like An American Werewolf in London and Halloween.
I think I might still have a bit of an issue with supermarket costumes that lack style, personality and more importantly quality which is why I think the products at Trick or Treat Studios impressed me so much.
A dedication to designing and producing high quality Halloween Masks, Costumes, Props, Weapons and Make-up means that you can still create your own costume but with that added bit of quality.
There is a great range of masks that include Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, WWE, Jaws and more. We also love their ‘They Live’ products including this topical Trump mask and Spike from Gremlins.
If you’ve made your mind up as to what you want to go out as this year you shouldn’t be swayed by reports of what the most popular Halloween costumes of 2017 will be. Just have fun, and if yoo want a bit of help to get something special head over to Trick or Treat Studios.
